The International Ecological Engineering Society (IEES) is holding its annual conference, ‘Closed Cycles and the Circular Society 2023: The Power of Ecological Engineering’, from 1 to 5 October 2023 in Chania, Greece. The event will focus on how ecological engineering can be circular and contribute to fight climate change, by establishing cycles of materials to deal with resource scarcity. It proposes nature-based solutions, using ecosystem services and renewable resources.
